First of all, I would like to say how excited I am about this new web site.  This field of paranormal research I truly feel is my calling.  This is a field that chose me, I didn’t chose it.   When I started Southern Paranormal Researchers 3 years ago, I had certain goals I wanted to reach with my team.  I have surpassed those goals.  I started this website reluctantly  because I didn’t want my wonderful team t feel slighted.  I was urged by team mates and friends such as David Humphrey, Jake Bell, Babs and Shae Whitehurst to start this website.  I am still the leader and director of Southern Paranormal Researchers.  I am also branching out a little on my own with my speaking engagements, future book projects, research and future experiments regarding various topics.  I am also doing some investigations with my personal team and with the help of my SPR team on some of the darker cases, occult studies, unsolved cold cases,  Ufology and some of the dimensional aspects I believe in and the spiritual side of life 

            Once I began this my life changed dramatically.  I have met wonderful people, grown spiritually on a personal level and I am evolving daily.  One of the things that I have learned and that has guided me to this direction was to change my physical being and mindset and the world around me followed me.  One thing that has strengthened me since I began is my faith in God.  He is working miracles in my life everyday and showing me the path I need to follow.  My recent trip to New Orleans, a priestess who knew nothing about me actually told me that the loneliest trip you can take is your spiritual journey.  I have been on an amazing spiritual journey.   My journey continues.  I hope along the way in the future, I can continue to help as many people as possible to understand the spiritual world and for me to learn from as many people as possible.   I receive numerous questions weekly.  I will answer at least one of my questions each week on my blog. 

            I think about all of the people I have met, friends I have gained, even friends I have lost.  I owe so much to all of them.  I want to give special thanks to Shae Whitehurst for supporting me, believing in me and helping me in my journey.  Babs for the support, friendship and inspiration in this field.  Chip Coffey for his heartfelt advice and friendship.  Chad the American Ghost Hunter and his crew for their friendship and for giving me the opportunity to speak at the Black Magic Conference in New Orleans.  I also want to thank all my friends and family, David Humphrey who I have know since childhood; Jake Bell who puts up with my OCD and works so hard for me;  Marty who put this wonderful site together for me and who works so hard and believes in me; my Pastor Chris Perry; my mother who puts up with all of us, and all the SPR family.  I am so blessed to have two wonderful sons, Ty and Rowdy,  who have inspired me to become a better  father and a role model to help them become the men they should be.  I never had the presence of my biological father  play an active role in my life.  However; I was blessed with male influences within my family such as my grandfather, uncle, cousin and my lifelong childhood friends.  Of course as I mention so often, my grandmother who taught me so much about the spiritual world and who gave me the strength, understanding and uniqueness of the spiritual world. 

            I plan to write a weekly blog to keep everyone informed as to what is going on with me, the SPR team and upcoming events.   I will make a pledge to everyone to remain humble, continue to work hard, be sincere and try to make a difference and to help as many as possible in this world and the next.
