I guess this can be considered my first “weekly blog” .  Before I get started I want to thank Marty and Jake for getting my site up and running and doing such a wonderful job.   

Last night, I had the honor and pleasure to be a part of a very popular and well known radio show, “Darkness Radio”.  I want to sincerely thank Dave, Tim and Shae for giving me that wonderful opportunity.   I know sometimes I might talk too fast to begin with and then  I settle into a groove.  Sometimes, my mind is running so fast, I am trying to catch up with it and I want to be able to answer the questions and provide as much information as I can on the questions.   This is one area I will be working on to improve for future interviews.   I sincerely want to thank everyone for the wonderful responses I've received from each of you regarding my appearance on the show, with the exeption of Jake and Shae.  LOL…just kidding.   I hope to have the opportunity to be back on Darkness Radio in the future as well as many other radio shows.  

There are new events in the making which I am very excited about.  This coming weekend we have Buena Vista which is a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to the historical society and to help out in any way possible.  We have a wonderful line up.  I am very appreciative of Babs, Ericka and Shae for volunteering their time and money to this event.  Also, Shae has put together an event in March in Dothan, AL “Through the Shadows” featuring Patrick Burns, Babs, myself and the band The Cemetary Surfers which should be a lot of fun.  There will be more to come on this event in the future.  In June, Babs, Susie , myself and many more are working on “Through the Veil” which I am really excited about.  I am so honored and blessed to have the opportunity to be involved in these events. 

2009 started off kind of rough with me being sick and celebrating New Years in the hospital.  I look at this as God telling me it is time for me to move in a certain direction .  One of the things that I am a firm believer in is if you change your body, you will change your mind and then you will change your world.  I see myself as being rejuvenated and re-focused in a direction I did not think I would be ready to travel at this point in my life, but I am.   I am ready be more comfortable and open with my abilities and everything that God has given me and to continue to use these abilities for the good and to make a difference.  I am turning 35 years old on Wednesday, January 14^th.  On my way home tonight from a case, I thought about the 35 years I have lived,  all of the ups and downs, all the regrets, victories and losses.   I do know if I had not lived the life that I have lived and learned all the things that I have learned  I would not be the man that I am today.    I made a promise to myself to take these next 35 years and stay on the path God has given me and use my abilities and knowledge to be the humble man God wants me to be.
